2021 Trends

After a year like 2020 when you spent much more time than usual in your living room, it’s almost human to want to redecorate it to feel like you're borning again. That’s why we’re showing you the new decoration trends for 2021 right away to start the year off right.

Just in between minimalist and ethical, decoration trends are intended to be more natural and in line with the protection of the planet, but all this, always with style.

The slow decoration

After slow food and slow fashion, it’s the slow decoration’s turn to install itself into our homes. It simply consists of reusing second-hand furniture in order to avoid excessive consumption of new furniture. It's much simpler than it seems to acquire a new second-hand piece of furniture, just take a look at flea markets or on sites dedicated to second-hand resale.

For those who are not very comfortable with the idea of recovering furniture already used, you can always choose to remake a piece of furniture you already own to give it a second life, or simply opt for supplies of natural materials such as flax, cotton, rattan, wood and many others, while learning about their ecological impact and brand values, better yet, work with the small local artisans around you.

The rounded furniture

To round the corners of your rooms, what better than to opt for rounded furniture or rounded seats ? They had already started to appear but in 2021, they claim to be the star of the year, your seats take on the forms of pebbles to better welcome you. We say goodbye to the frank angles for the arrival of rounded lines that allow to gain space in your interiors but also to bring softness and modernity.

The interior cladding

In addition to dressing your home they now dress your interiors too. If you are looking to bring a more rustic or more natural style, the wooden cladding on the walls of your rooms is one of the possible answers. It will bring character and material to your room while giving it a more convivial look that will warm your interior.
